Wanoanui, This Day. The weather is beautiful for the openiug day of the Autumn Meeting. The attendance is large, there being visitors from all parts of the colony. Rewrite : — Hurdles — Couranto, 1; Mutiny, 2; ! Strephou, 3. Also started — Morag and Oaklamls. A slashing race ; won by a long neck. Time, 4min 12 2-ssec Dividend, £14 14s. Hack Hurdles- Strike, 1; Romeo, 2; Narrate, «. Also started— Entry, Flirt, Nanakin, Lisctta, and Tramoro. The latter fell at the first hurdle, and the rider, W. Laing, was severely hurt, being kicked. Time, 2min 10 2-ssec. Dividend, M ss.
