AN UNJUST SENTENCE. (JPBB PfiESS ASSOCIATION.") Houakt, March 1. At the Supreme Court to-day, Thomas Normoyle was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for shooting George Heury Knight, at Newtown, near Hobart, on the 20th inst. Evidence showed that tho accused had planted himself in order to watch Knight's conduct with his wife, and when he saw him embrace her he fired and shot him dead. The wife admitted her infidelity at the inquest on Knight, The jury strongly recommended Normoyle to mercy.
