THE following Special Order will be proposed at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board, to be held on SATURDAY, 3rd March, ISD4 :— That a Special Rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the £ be innd* upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native Lands occupied by Native owners excepted) within the boundaries of No. 2 Sub-division of the Manchester Road District, for the purpose of paying interest on a loan of £600, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 15.50," such rate to be an annually recurring rate for 20 years, and payable in equal instalments, at the Boards Office, on the first day of April aud October in each year. — By Okdkb.
