Bush Fires at Bulls and Sandon.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Bi'Lr.B, This Day. On Fridaj' aftornoon a fire broke out in the bush at the back of Bulls, and on Saturday morning a strong wind sprang up and carried the flames in the direction of the houses on Bridge road. The townspeople turned out in large numbers and succeeded in preserving the houses, although several times the shingle roofs caught fire. The furniture was re moved from two tf the houses. Considerable damage was done to foucfß and grass. Haiti s?t in shortly afterwardp, at midnight, and prevented the further spread of fires. In the San don district bush fires were also rag? ing on Friday and Saturday, aud tho utmost difficulty was experienced in keeping the flames from several farmhouses and woolsheds. The damage done to grass and fenceu is very great, and the loss to farmers will bo heavy.
