The Stout Election Petition Case.
— ♦ (PER PItESS ASSOCIATION). Wklli.ngton, February 25. The Chief Justice and the Registrar of the Supreme Court have been served with notices not to hand over the £200 deposited as security in the Stout election petition case to anyone but the petitioners. One of the petitioners filed an affidavit some time ago, stating he had not put up the security nor authorised anyone to do so, and the present notice is supposed to be given with the view of ascertaining the names of those who lodged money.
