Mr Froser, a member of the Victorian Parliament, who has just returned from a visit to Now Zealand, wns interviewed on the subject of the frozen wont trade. He said he thought that the prices paid to growers of sheep in that colony wore too high. Jn this would Ho Victoria's opportunity, as she could produce meat cheaper than anyone. He admitted that New Zealand sheep >vere at present superior, but Victoria would soon breed the right class, and New Zealand competition would be as nothing wjien they considered the price at which Victoria would us s^ble tp produce. A trip through New just no*y M-as a liberal education to a Victorian.
