(P£R PBESS ASSOCIATION.) London, February 20. At a meeting of the unsecured creditors of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Mr Stewart, Official Receiver, stated he was enquiring into the transactions between the Company and Thos. Russell and the New Zealand Land Association. Sir James Fergusson said the Directors courted the fullest enquiry, but in view of recent criticism they were not desirous of being re elected to office. The holders of 1892 debentures have approved the reconstruction scheme. The contributors have also adopted the scheme, though they object to the advent of the creditors' committee to the directorate, and passed a resolution expressing confidence a m the present Board. _____^___ mmm _ mm _ i
