Lawn Tennis.
The local tennis courts presented quite a gay appearance on Saturday afternoon, a largo number of players and spectators being on the ground to witness the match between members of the Feilding aud Halcombe clubs. Some capital play was shown by the ladies and gentlemen of both clubs, and although the general opinion was that Halcombe would prove victorious it turned out otherwise, as Feilding won by thirteen games. It was decided that the winners should be those who first won nine games. Following are the scores : — Feilding. Halcombe.
