[PISE PBESS ASi-OCIATION. I Wellington, February 13. A woman named Sarah Ann Mears, a widow residing at Petone, is missing. She was last seen on the "Wellington wharf on Saturday night, and a letter, written by her, has reached the constable at Petone, asking him to look after her nine children, some of whom are grown up. Napieb, February 13 Anthony Gordon, potato dealer, was at work in a paddock at Hastings when he dropped down dead. The cause was heart disease. He was a single man. Woodville, This Dn?. Mrs Walsh, aged 65, was found dead in bed at Kumeroa on Tuesday morning. At the inquest the medical evidence showed death was from failure of the heart's action, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
