The Land and Income Tax.
(PER PBEBB ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Febraarf 13. The last day for the payment of in-come-tax without the imposition of the ■„ 10 per cent, increase is tomorrow. The Department has issued summonses apainat all persons in the colony whose land tax, exceeding two shillings and six pence, has not been paid. Proceedings have been instituted against persons in Ashburton t Napier, Invercargill and Taranaki for not submitting returns of income.
