(PEB PBEBS ASSOCIATION). London, February 10. Tallow — Medium mutton, 25s 6d ; beef, 14s. The English wheat market is lifeless, the Continental is depressed, and the American is declining and weak. A Victorian cargo of wheat has been sold at 25s 6d. The butter market is unchanged. Indian rupee paper is quoted at .£SB 8s per 1000 rupees. A wheat cargo from the Cape of Good Hope has been sold at about 25s 9d per quarter. The New Zealand Land Association has received the following cablegram from London : — Frozen Meat — Mutton market inactive, and quotations unchanged since last telegram. Last season's prime New Zealand lambs are worth pec carcase 6d per lb. Tallow — Market unchanged. Fine mutton and good beef tallow are worth respectively 27 s6d and 26s per cwt ; quotations nominal.
