Attempted Robbery.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. 3 Auckland. This Day. About one o'clock ou Saturday night an attempt was made by two men to stick up Mr J. W. Kuight, fruiterer, in Waterloo Qnadrant. One snatched at his handbag containing money, jewellery, deeds, &c, to the value of £100. The handle broke, but Knight held ou and backed to a wall, where lie kept his assailants off. Hin wife's screama caused them to run away.
