(PER PKE3B ASSOCIATION.) Dunepin, February 5. Bishop Moran is gradually sinking. Auckland, February 5 The shop of Sargeant, jeweller, at Cambridge, was burglariously entered ! and a large quantity of jewellery was stolen. A man giving the name of John Booth has been arrested in connection I with the offence, and remanded. At the mquest on the fire at Berghan's store, destroyed at Ahipara, the jury returned a verdict that the store was intentionally set fire to, but the evidence was not sufficiently conclusive to judge by whom done. The jury considered great blame was attached to the person in charge for not culling in aid. This Day. McArthur and Co. have decided to carry on business as usual, but will close the Wellington house, the offers made for the business not coming up to expectations. Mastkkton, February 5. The two meu William Higgings and William J. Hamilton have been commit ted for trial on the charge of burglarious entiy of the Royal Hotel
