[PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] London, February 1, Mr Gladstone denies that he has auy intention of resigning, but admits the condition of his sight and hardness of hearing have long rendered relief from public cares desirable. The Tinies thinks Mr Gladstone's plain admission of failing health is serious, though the idea of his resigdation is premature. The Daily News minimises reference to the state of Mr Gladstone's health, and accuses the Pall Mall Gazette of hoaxing the public. The Standard considers the nature of the Premier's denial most discouraging to the Ministry.
