THE LONGBURN SLAUGHTERING AND FREEZING COMPANY (Limited). THE Works will be opened on 29th inst. to freeze stock on owners' account and boil down fat stock unsuitable for freezing. Farmers desirous to have stock frozen should make early application to ensure space being secured. Arrangements have been made with Messrs Levin and Co., on behalf of the Company's agents, the National Mortgage and Agency Co., Limited, to make advances and render account sales direct to farmers on meat and tallow shipped through them. They will advance Ijd per lb on mutton and lid per lb on lamb and on tallow according to quality.
