(PEB PKESS ASSOCIATION ) Sydney, January 26. In the cricket match, New South "Wales v Victoria, the local men in their first innings scored 127. Victoria's first innings closed for Hb. In their second innings New South "Wales lost three wickets for 45 runs. Wellington, This Day, A very heavy thunderstorm passed over the City between six and seven this morning, and the rain fell in torrents, but soon cleared off, and the weather is now all that could be desired for the cricket match, Wellington v New South Wales. The home team won the toss, and sent the visitors to the wickets. At luncheon adjournment they had lost seven wickets for 184 runs.
