THE FIRST TERM will begin on Ist FEBRUARY. Miss Hamilton will receive parents and guardians at the High School on the 30th and 31st January, from 2 to 6 p.m. In addition to the numerous passes in the local music and drawing examinations, twenty-two pupils from the school passed the matriculation examination last year, five of whom qualified for a " partial " D certificate. One pupil passed the Junior University Scholarship Examination, and one kept her second year's terms and sat for the first section of the B.A. Degree. On account of the large number of pupils another teacher is to be added to the teaching staff.
