On Saturday last the Cup match Sandou v Col y ton was to have been played here, but the former, being unable to raise a team, failed to put in an appearance, and the match therefore went by default to C'olyton. After dinner, the latter team, together with a few Feilding players on the ground, picked up siden, captained by Messrs J. and W. Entwisle. The former's side made 63 and 67, and the latter's side 66 and 63. Afternoon tea was provided by Mr and Mrs Lethbridge, which was much appreciated by the players. The New South Wales team defeated Auckland by nine wickets.
