Messrs Gorton and Son's report— We had good entries for our stock sales at Bulls, Awahuri, and Hunterville but at Bulls and Awahuri the sales were very dull and we had to turn out most of the atock unsold. At Hunterville we are glad to say it was just the rovers^ and we sold everything excepting a balance of some 2-tooth ewes Our quotations are : — CATTLE. Bulls— 2i-year steers, £3 18s ; 18---month to 2 -year mixed, L 3 6s ; 15 month steers, L 2 5s ; cows, L 3to L 4 5s ; year steers, L 2 15s. Awahuri — 2«j ear steers, L 3 4s ; 3-year steers, L 4 5s ; year steers, L 2 10* ; 2-year heifers, L 3 6d to L 3 14s 6d ; fat cows, L4ss ; weaners, mixed, 22s to 26s ; milkers, L 4 6s 3d. Hunterville — Fat bullocks, L 6 3s ; fat cows, L 4 5s ; 2 to 3-year steers, L 3 10s to L 3 Ids ; 2 to 8-year heifers, L3to Ltf 17s 6d ; 18-month to 2 year steers, L 8 7s 6il ; 18 month heifers, L 2 5a ; year steers, L 2 10s. SHEEP. Bulls — Woolly lambs, 6s o"d. Awahuri — Woolly lambs, 4a 6u* ; ewes 2s 6d. Hunterville --2-tooth wethers, 7s 9d to 8s 3d ; 2-tooth ewes, 8s 9d to 9s 6d ; mixed sheep, 6s 6d to Is 6d ; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 9s 9d. The Kgmout Farmers' Union, Limited, report as follows : - We held our fortnightly sale at Mauaia on Wednesday, the 17th instant. We quote : — Forward bullocks, L47s to L 4 9s ; 18- month to 2-year steers, t'2 12s to Jtl'l 7s 6d ; cows and calves, .£3 12s 6d to i."4. :
