Roller flour, £8 to £* 10s ; pollard, £3 10s ; bran, £3 ss ; whole fowls' wheat, 2s 9d to 2s lid; broken do, 2s 6d ; prime short oats, 2s ~>d to 2s 6d ; oatmeal, £11 to £11 10s ; oaten sheaf chaff, 90s : dun oats, 2s Gd to 2s 7hd; long white feed do, 2s ,3d to 2s 4d ; feed barley, 2s 8d ; beans, 3s Gd ; blue peas, 3s 9d ; partridge and white, 3s 6d ; split peas, los ; pearl barley, 17s Gd; maize, 3s Gd. Potatoes have reduced, and are now unsteady at I'3 to £4: per ton. Onions are also liable to an early reduction on the present value £9. Cheese, of prime quality, is in fair request at 5d per lb ; hams and bacon, 7fd ; hams, 9?d ; bacon, 7| ; eggs, 9d per doz : honey, 3d lb ; lard, in bladders, 5d lb : fungus, 3|d ; to 3£d per lb. The week has been an exceedingly busy one for fruit, no less a quantity than over 3000 cases passing through our hands alone. The Tarawera, from Sydney, landed her cargo in bad condition, and very lonv prices for such lines as plums, peaches, and nectarines was the result. The market is now greatly overstocked, and the cessation of consignments for a week would greatly help matters. Poultry is dull at following rates : — Fowls, 2s Gd ; ducks, 3s 6d ; geese, Os ; and turkeys, 7s Gd per pair.
