PRESS ASSOCIATION). Melbourne, January 12. A sensational attempt at burglary occurred at a pawnbroker's shop in "Wil liamstown last night. The burglar iired twice at the proprietor while trying to getaway, and wounded him slightly. The man was then intercepted by the pawnbroker's son, whom he shot through the body, but the wounded man held him until he was arrested. The victim is in a precarious condition. An accomplice of the burglar was also arrested.
