A Sensational Occurrence.

(PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION J Ghbistchubch, January 10. A sensational incident occurred at Filiis's circus this afternoon. Cox, the anitual trainer, was putting the Bengal tiger through her usual performance. He placed his head in the animal's mouth, when she suddenly closed her jaws, indicting a painful wound on the trainer's face. Cox retained great presence of mind, and released himself without receiving further injury. Medical examination showed that the wound was not of a serious nature. The incident caused considerable consternation among the audience. Despite the injuries he received in t the afternoon, Cox, the trainer, went through another performance with the tiger. A young lady was to have entered the lion's cage, but the police prohibited her doing so.
