Tennent aud Simpsou report as follows: — We held a successful sale at Martoii on the sth iust., and report prices as under : — Speyed cows, well forward, A"5 5s ; fat cows and steers, i's ss ; heifers, IB months to 2 years, J& 14s 6d ; dairy cows, .£4 12s 6d to [£4 15s. Sheep — 2, 4, and 6-cooth ewes in wool, mostly dry, 11s 8d ; 2, 4, and 6tooth wethers in wool, 12s 6d. We sold privately 2,000 4 and 6-tooth wethers at full market rates.
