INQUEST ON JONES, THE HANGMAN. (PEK I'KKHS ASSOCIATION). Melbourne, January 8. At the inquest on Jones, the hangman, his wife stated he had said he would commit suicide sooner than hang a woman. Witness herself threatened to leave him if he did the work.
