The Security and Fidelity of the Pub. lie Trustoe's administration must bo considered of tho utmost importance to every person contemplating tho appointment of a trustee. Tho colony yttaranteis the fidelity of tho administration, aud Guarantees also the Integrity'of the Capital Funds invested at tho option of tho Public Trustee. Tho Colony Guarantees also, on the capital fluids arisiing for investment out of the properties placed in the Public Trust Office, ft common rate of interest, to be paid quarterly, Free of all charges of the Public Trust Office. The value of this giiarAiitee is In the Guarantee of the Colony against Jobs from investments in bad or Insufficient securities, and against loss from delay in investment, and for the regular and punctual payment of the interest, free of all charges of tho Public I'rusl Office. In tho appointment or Trustees thero must always be SeriOUS concern as to the security of the capital funds; and tho larger the capital funds the greater must be the concern for security, and the less for a high rate of interest. Tho Public Trustee cannot dio, cannot leave tho colony, cannot become aia(jualitted, or involved in private difficulties ; and cannot be distrusted.
