Stock Markets.
Messrs Freeman B. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonville report : — The cattle entered for tbe sale to-day were of fair to good quality. The smaller bullocks made more money for the lOOlbs than the larger ones. The beef brought from 17s 6d to 19s tbe lOOlbs. A small e*\try of over 400 sheep made up tiie^saleT'.JPigs were in limited numbers, and sor^n vendors' favour. We quote :— • Cattle -Bullocks, £7 10s to i 7 17s 6d K others, L 6 15s to L 7 ss; store cdfcS.Tj2\ 10s toL3 10s. v - Sheep - Wethers, 10s 5d to 10s 9d ; ewes, 8s 8d to 8s 9d ; store wetheES, 8s ld ; shorn lambs, 7s 6d to 7s 7d ; a few unfit to kill, 4s 6d. Pigs- Baconers, SOs ; porkers, 22s 6d ; small stores, lis to 12s 6d.
