Sale of Blood Stock.

[Per Press Association] Auckland, January 3. Tho annual sale of yearlings, bred by Mr Thomas Morrin, at WeUington Park, was held today. Among the Australian and Southern visitors were the Hon. Hugh Mossman, ML C, New South Wales, and Messrs biish, S. Herdern, jnr., and M. Power, all from the same colony. Messrs Gollan and Lowry, of Hawke's Bay, D O'Brien, Christchurch, and Goodson, Hawera. The highest lot cold wasa brown colt by Castor— Frailty, 1575 guineas, the purchaser being Mr S, Hordern, jnr. The next highest was a brown colt by Castor— Necklace, S Hordern, jnr., 1050 guineas. Thirty lots offered realised 5253 guineas ; average, 175 guineas. Among the purchasers were the Hon. H. Mossman, and T. Hook, New South Wales; Gooseman, Hawke's Bay ; D. O'Brien, Christchurch. and Finerty, Waitara. Nearly a score of yearlings found purchasers in the Auckland district.
