The ninth annual match between the Canterbury Midland Club and the Wellington Midland Club ended in a draw. The scores were— Welhngton : Ist innings, 140; 2nd, total for five wickets 220. Christchurch : Ist innings, 211. 2nd, total for two wickets 37.
