Mr G. Wilks advertises prize Romney rams for sale or exchange. A good all round hand wants engagement in store. Mr Bastings, of the Manchester Hotel, invites tenders for the supply of firewood. Messrs Stevens and Wood invite tenders for carting timber, and for laying 50 chains of tramway. Nominations for the vacancy in the Borough Council will be received until noon to-morrow-Mr Charles Carr will hold his next stock sale at Birmingham on January 9th. A number ot entries are advertised to-day. Additions are made to the list of entries for Messrs Abraham and William's Palmerston stock sale.
