Supposed Murder.
(per press association.} Auckland, December 29. Neirs from Thursday Island, North Australia, reports circumstances pointing to tbe murder there of Capt. 8. Boe, a son of Mr Matthew Koe, timber merchant, Onehunga. Capt. Eoe left for Thursday Island upon a fishing ercusion, for beche de met; and lately rumours of treachery on the part of natives, and the finding of a boat without occupants, are reported. John Cobbe has received per s.s. " Arawa " 11 dozen patent spring button kid gloves from the world-renowned firm of Dent, Allcroft Jt Co. These gloves are all guaranteed, and any pair failing to give satisfaction will, unless they have been bought too small in size, be replaoed free of charge.
