More Labor Riots.

♦■ (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Rome, December 28. Persistent rioting ia reported from Sioily. The outbreak is being due to the pressure of local taxation. Mobs are burning pnblic buildings and residences of tax collectors, while an immense amount of damage is being _ done in other directions. Signor Crispi has appealed to the municipal authorities on the Island to see that taxes are levied as equitably as possible, and is sending troops to maintain order. In the riots in Sioily, four persons have been killed and many wounded. Capetown, December 27. Rioting occurred among the native miners employed in the gold mines near Johannesburg, when 2000 of them indulged in a furious combat in which some 100 were wounded.
