♦ (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). London, December 20. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Iyngdom is 8,086,---000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,108,000 quarters. The shipment of milk by the Britannia arrived in fair condition. Melbourne, December 21. The wool sales are exceedingly brisk, and the prices very firm, with a hardening tendency. Greasy merino realised up to 9fcl. Sydnky, December 21. At the wool sales there was a strong demand, though no material change in prices. Greasy cross -breds brought (U to lQd, and scoured fleeces lOkl to Is fljd.
