FEILDING V. PAHIATUA. A friendly contest between the above Clubs was plaj'ed on Mr Lethbridge's ground yesterday. The visiting team arrived in Feilding at 10 o'clock, and play was commenced shortly before 11. Both teams adjourned at 1 o'clock to a spread provided by the locall club at Mrs Hastie's Hotel, and all present enjoyed the good things which had been prepared by the genial hostess of the Feilding Hotel. The heavy showers of rain falling during the afternoon greatly interfered with the game, only allowing time between the showers to play one innings each, Feilding winning by 28 runs.
