(PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION ) WeIjUNGTOJ*, December 16. At the land auction to-diy ihe farm of 290 acres, near Ashurst. in the estate of the late R. T. Walker, was sold to Mr C. Hunt, of Pohangina, at the upset price of ten guineas per acre There was little competition aud only eno^ country buyer waa represented. A section of 200 acres nearly all improved, at Apiti. near Birmingham, was passed in at L 5 per acre.
