The third prize competition of the Manchester Rifles was fired yesterday morning and afternoon. Sergts Saywell and Aitken tied in Class A with scores of 69, but as Saywell made the most at the long distance he counts the win. Vol Eobinson won in Glass B with a total of 66, and Vol Farkes in Class C with 67. Vol Pftrkes, having won three competitions running, wins the first prize iCapt Kirton's binocular glasses) in bis cla&s outright. Vol Scott, Cor pi Q. Bay well and Sergt F. Saywell have one win each for the prize (Mr Basting's watch) in Class A, and Vol McMnrray two wins and Vol Bobineon one win for the prize in Class B (Mrs Hastie's medal) Class C will continue firing for Lieut Bray's prize for second place. jn that Class.
