A BANK FOR CAMPBELLTOWN

Now that settlement is rapidly increasing in and around the township of Cainpbelltown, more especially since the establishment of Mr Corpe's butter factory, the business people and farmers there should move in the direction of having a branch bank opened in their midst. We do not wish to imply that expensive bank premises should bo erected, and a costly staff of officers employed, but we think that if a temporary agency were opened, say, twice a week, by an officer seat from Feilding, as is done in respect of the bank agency at Birmingham, the desired end could be obtained at very little cost on the part of the bank which was first in the h'elfl. The convenience this would afford customers would be much appreciated and doubtless lead to profitable business in the near future.
