A Successful Sheep Dip
If sheep owners in various parts of the world are judges of a good sheep dip Cooper's powder has indeed proved its merits. It has been in constantly increasing use for fifty years until now its makers report that they manufacture sufficient to dip over one hundred million sheep annually. At the last Eoyal Agricultural Show of England sixty-three prize takers were said to be Cooper dipped sheep, and thirty-six prize takers at the last great Melbourne Show were dipped in the same preparation. It is stated a Cooper dipped clip namely that of Messrs O'Connor and Sinclair, Santu Maria, obtained the highest prize last year in Argentina, which contains over 90,000,000 sheep. The makers of this preparation claim as its special merit its lasting and beneficial effects on the wool. As dipping sheep is every year coming more into vogue and the practice is found to greatly improve our wool anything re» lating to dips must be iuterestiug to our readers.
