The Colony Cuarantees also, on the capital funds arising for investment out of tbe properties placed in the Publie Trust Office, a common rate of interest, to be paid quarterly, Free of all charges of the Public Trust Office. The valuo ot this guarantee is in the Guarantee of the Colony against loss from investments in bod or Insufficient securities, and against loss from delay in investment, and for tho regular and punctual payment of the interest, free of all charges of the Public Trust Office. In the appointment of Trustees there must always be serious concern as to the security of the capital funds ; and the larger the capital funds tho greater must be tbo concern for socurity, and the less for a bigh rate of interest. The Public Trustee cannot die, cannot leavo tho colony, cannot become dfe qualified, or involved in private difficuU^&i and cannot be distrusted. In private trusteeships, death and absence rendor necessary numerous and expensive deodß not required by Public Trustee's administration, which bas, besides, the •flue solicitor's advice without expense to the estates. By all who know or have experieno#a the contingencies of privato trusteeships the-** advantages must be appreciated.
