Wellington A. & P. Association
(pee press association). Wellington, November 15. Tbe fifth annual show of the Wellington A. and P. Association commenced to-day at Petone. The show is an excellent one, both as to numbers and quality of exhibits. There is a falling off in the exhibits of produce, and what little there is comes from more distant parts of the province Woodville and Wairarapa and Johnsonville and Karori, the Hutt farmers claiming that their grasses are unsuited to butter. There is a marked, improvement in other classes, as compared with last year's exhibits, including prize winners at various northern, shows and also the Christchurch Show This Day. The weather is showery and will entirely spoil the people's day at the Show.
