In course of an interview to day Mr Hume Black, representative of the Queensland Government who has just returned f rom the continent, states that several Germans propose to form a company in Hamburg with brancbes in Berlin, Bremen, Calogne, and elsewhere to distribute Australian meat on _ the condition that the meat is shipped direct from the colonies to Hamburg as they allege transhipment in London reduced the profit tp pij. $fr Black added that it ib hoped to induce the $iord Pen tschor line to lit one or two of their vessels with freezing apparatus and for them to call at Brisbane and Townsville quarterly until the trade expands Hamburg and Berlin, hf} says, have already ample cool storage.
