RULES & REGULATIONS: Nominations for Champion Race and all handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before MONDAY, lllh December, not later than 8.30 pm; competitors are requested to forward postal notes and not stamps Two-shillings on each handicap event, and full entry money for Champion Race, to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of public performances for the last two years (matches included) with, dates and localities of such per* formances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which can be made on the ground ; other events post entries ; colors must be named on nomination The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats Amateurs must be members of some Athletic Society, and must produce cer] tificates to that effect; all Amateur events will be run under the ' New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association ' rules " Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, ■hall be disqualified for life Tho Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any eTent, to make a declaration as to his identity, and the correctness of his description of his performances.
