OwiDgto pressure of work, it is now very unlikely that the Colonial Treasurer will visit Auckland; but he intends to reply to Mr Mitchelson's recent speech in his address to the constituents on Tuesday evening next. (Per Press Association.) "Wanganui, November 3. Mr G. M. Mason announces his candidature for "Wanganui in the Liberal interest. He is a son of Mr Thomas Mason, formerly of the Hutt. Stbatfoed, November 3. The Premier received a vote of confidence as well as thanks at his meeting here. . _ Hawera, This Day. The Premier addressed a largo meeting here last evening in reply to Mr Hutelunson. At the close of the meeting a rote of thanks and confidence m the Government was carried.
