FATAL ACCIDENT. (PKR TUESS ASSOCIATION.} Haweiu, November 2. The Egmont A. and P. Show is a great success. The attendance is the largest the Show has attained. Sheep were weak, but cattle strong in class. In quality, Mr Fanthnm takes chief honors. In horses there w»8 a splendid, show. In draughts, Gleneyle was Grst and champion, nnd in thoroughbreds Gipsy King was first and champion. Tho implements and sundries are fair. A shocking accident happened while the judging was going on. Mr Olsen, a well-known breeder, was gored by one of his own bulls and so badly injured that he died this afternoon. Wellington, November 2. The Wairarapa and East Coast A. and P. Society's annual Show was held at Cartcrton to-day under favorable auspices. The entries numbered 10-14, which is a small increase over the prerioas year. In cattle, F. Gray, W. Strong, L. Compton, G. 11. Scales, P. C. Auderson and J. Martin tak« the principal prizes. In sheep, Perry Bro< secure first for Lincolns, j. Reynolds for Cots* wold, C. Elger for Border Leicester*, and W. C Buchanan for Southdowns. Ad ministrator was awarded first prizo in thoroughbred stallions.
