-♦■ Messrs Gorton and Son's stock report — Full entries of sheep came forward at our Marton sale on Tuesday and our yards were filled, the bidding was brisk and thanks to the attendance of outside buyers and others, every sheep was 6old at or after the sale at fair prices. Our quotations are : — Sheep— Shorn 2tooth wethers, Us to 8s 5d ; shorn 2-tooth ewes, 8s 6d ; shorn mixed 2-tooth, 8s 4d ; shorn /at sbeep, ds ; woolly wether hoggets, 12s ; woolly mixed hoggets, 10s to lis Id ; shorn ewes with lambs, 8s 9d ; woolly owes with lambs, 10s 6d. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report.— We had a fair muster of stock at Waverley. Cattle sold briskly, but sheep were dull of sale, especially ewes and lambs. At Wsnganui the attendance was small and the bidding slow. Wo sold all that came forward after the sale.
