(PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Chbistchubch, October 26. The quarterly communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge was held last night Hro. H. Thompson, PGM, presiding. There was a very large attecdance of officers of lodges and members of the Grand Lodge. The reports were anani tnously adopted. The charter question was considered, and amendments adopted. Lt was resolved " That this Grand Lodge will recommend 'a return of all charters immediately on recognition being accorded this Grand Lodge by England, Ireland and Scotland." The next meeting is to be at Oamaru. A number of bakers were before the Court today, charged with selling bread short of weight, and fines from L 2 for a first offence to L 5 for a second offence { were inflicted, with costs.
