Shocking Sudden Death
To day's Wellington Times says : — A painfully sudden death occurred yesterday in the operating room at Mr Rnw*nn's, dentist, Wellington terrace. Mrs Moxhnm, wife of Mr Samuel Moxliam, nnd daughter-in»law of Mr Moxham. of Upland Farm, was on a visit to Mr Kawson for the purpose of having several of her tech extracted. As the operation was. likely to be prolonged and necessarily painful, chloroform was ndministered under the supervision of Dr Kawson. The teeth were extracted and Ihe chloroform discontinued, but in nbout a quarter of an hour the patient betinn to faint, and in a very few moments was dead. All efforts at restoration were unavailing, and the distressing occurrence was reported to the police. I Tlie body was removed to Upland Farm la<t night, and a post-mortem examination will be made by Dr Tripe to»day. An inquest on the remains is to be held by the Coroner at 3 o'clock this afternoon. _____^_______^
