Cablegrams from Japan announce the partial failure of the rice crop, and a sharp rise of L 2 per ton in consequence. A corresponding increase in value has occurred in the Wellington market. (PER I'KES.S ASSOCIATION). London, October 25. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,784,000 quarters, and for tho Continent 912,000. MKLiioi'BNE, October 2b* Factory butter brought 112s to 116s per cwt.and a few choice lots 118s. Dairy butter is in an unsatisfactory condition, and no sales have been effected.
