Feilding Jockey Club

A committee meeting of the Feildmg Jockey Club was held at the Manchester Hotel last evening. A circnlnr was received from the Wanganui Jockey Club to the eliect that the nominations of delegates to represent country clubs were due on November 2. Mr E. Goorlbehere w»9 appointed to represent the Feilding Jockey Club. The Committee have arranged with Mr Turner to lease ft strip of land adjoining the racecourse, on the same terms as the course, and a road will be made through this in time for the next meeting. The names of Messrs Burlace and Light were added to the working committee, who were instructed to have the training tracks put in good order at once. After other routine business was transacted, the meeting adjourned.
