Drowning Case at Foxton
A man named B. Osborne was drowned jesterday at •Gledhill's mill, Foxton; The body has not yet been found. Ser» geant Slattery, of Palmerston, received further particulars of the fatality from Foxton last night, from which it appears that the deceased and a man named Ryan were crossing the river in a boat at Oled* hill's flaxmill, when the boat capsued. Ryan clung to the boat and got ashore. Osborne endeavored to reach the shore by swimming, but failed-
