There was an unusually large attendanco at the Glover road salo yards, Hawera, on Wednesday, the 18th inst , and we had a large entry of cattle to offer, several of the lines, particularly the fat stock being of a superior quality. Bidding was very slow from start to finish, though little of the stock left the yards without changing. hands. It is worthy of note that in spite of the abundance of grass and the scarcity of stock, prices are easier all round.
